I love the effect of focusing your eye on the photos, as though you are looking through a telescope. Plus the black and white photos look so classic and timeless. Here you can see the layout pinned up on my Everyday Display... this is currently my "Dream Wall", plus also a great space for displaying my recent pages.

Large CCS Templates
This is my absolute favourite page layout at the moment. It was created using the Jumbo Circle Template which Creative Memories released a few months ago. Since then they have also released a jumbo oval, a jumbo wavy frame and next month they will be releasing a fourth in the series.

Come on, scrappers!
For my July layout challenge I only had two entries!!! Come on, ladies, get those creative juices flowing! "The Hat" randomly chose Rebecca from Timaru as the winner and ta-da... she received a sheet of CM's Birthday stickers to further beautify her pages.
So in order to give you heaps of time to get your pages together I have decided to release August's sketch early... here it is!
Here are the two lovely entries I received...
Rebecca (Timaru)
Robyn (Christchurch)

Large CCS templates
I am loving using the extra large templates for our Custom Cutting System. I have so far tried only the circle and oval, but there is also a wavy frame, and... here's a sneak hint... there will be a brand new extra large shape available in August too!
I created this double layout at my July workshop with a wedding theme, and love the geometry of it. The oval frame is a timeless classic, and I do love crossing the centre line with my photos. I think it brings both sides of the layout together so beautifully.
If you are interested in trying out the extra large templates for yourself, do join me for my August workshops. Christchurch August 7th and Timaru August 12. The theme this month will be "Kids".

Mojo Monday 147
I had such a great night last night. I went over to a friend's place and did a little babysitting while they got to go out, and I got to do some uninterrupted crafting! I got three cards done and have three challenges to enter. Hurrah! It's been a long time since I managed to enter a challenge or two.
Here is my entry for the Mojo Monday challenge. It is my favourite of the three cards. I love the bird punch, but also the puzzle maker looks fabulous here. I love the Cottage Wall DSP and the purple colours.
Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge 120
This is my Taylored Expressions card for sketch 120. I was on a roll last night with the same theme and the same papers, so there is quite a lot of similarity!
Clean and Simple 98
Here is my card for the Clean and Simple Challenge 98. With all the gorgeous papers that both Stampin Up and Creative Memories produce, I can see me using my punches more and more, and putting less and less in the way of stamping on my cards! That's fine, since there is less mess to clear up.
Here I have used SU's Cottage Wall papers and Whisper White, with the two step Bird Punch. So quick and so easy! There was a discussion on Just Add Ink the other day about everyone's favourite adhesive. Mine is definitely Creative Memories' Precision Point Adhesive. I use so many little fiddly bits now, and the PPA is great for those little bits of paper.

Baby Girl Cube Page
Have I posted this before? I don't think so... and it's such a cute idea that I'd post it again anyway. I was reminded of it yesterday because someone emailed me for the directions to make a cube photo page. In this one I took the same idea and created three cubes, looking as though they are stacked. I interspersed it with papers because I felt that having all nine slots filled with photos would be too busy.
Ingredients used: Creative Memories brand Baby Girl Delight papers, Delight paper ribbons, Delight paper buttons and Delight paper flowers.
If you would like a guidesheet for making this page, email me at jo.farmer@clear.net.nz and I will be happy to send them out to you!
