A few of my favourite things include the Cricut and Christmas, so this project wasn't too difficult to set up. I saw a beautiful picture on the Artfull Crafts blog of a twisted easel Christmas card, and have adapted it to include most elements cut using the Artiste cartridge for the Cricut. The face, ribbon, matchbox, flower, and leaf sprig are just a few of the 700 shapes which the Artiste has loaded on it; you just select the size which you want it to cut and push the button... yes it really IS that easy!
This beautiful card is for another of Heart 2 Heart's September challenges.
You know I will have to lift this one! That is the cutest twisted easel card and the little matchbox is the perfect stopper - you could add a little rolled up money for those special little people (just thinking out loud). So glad you joined us at H2H
ReplyDeleteOh Shirley that is a simply BRILLIANT idea! I thought for ages about what to have popping out of the matchbox, and I do live the idea of a music parchment, because I just adore Christmas carols, but some money - either paper or those chocolate gold coins - is a wonderful idea! Thank you!
