I had a little play this afternoon with the ombre idea. The Heart 2 Heart challenge site has some great ideas for this, and there is also a YouTube video showcasing some easy ways with ombre. I masked part of the card face with Post-It notes whilst sponging the rest, and it gave me the chance to show a gradient of the same colour. I also chose to go with the masculine theme this week, as it is the challenge over on Just Add Ink.
To create this card, I used my Cricut for the tag shape, Navy Ink and Cardstock, a paper from SU and a CTMH stamp. I popped the tag up with foam squares. The card dimensions are 4" x 7.5".
(I don't know if you noticed, but I also tried to create an ombre effect in the background of my photo!)

I like the effect this technique makes. Excellent blokey card - I like how the stripes on the DSP compliments the blocks of colour across the card. Chantell JAI
